These Terms of Service govern your use of BloomBot, a Discord bot created and maintained by Mayflower Studios ("we", "us", "our"). By adding BloomBot to a Discord server or interacting with its commands, you agree to these Terms.
1. What BloomBot Does
- Welcome & Leave Messages — customizable greetings when members join or leave
- Birthday Tracking — optional birthday registration for server-wide announcements
- Leveling & XP — message-based experience points and progression with leaderboards
- Achievements — milestone-based badges unlocked through server activity
- Reaction Roles — self-assignable roles via emoji reactions on configured panels
- Daily Affirmations — scheduled positive messages posted to a designated channel
- Twitch Stream Announcements — notifications when configured streamers go live
- Easter Eggs — fun hidden responses and interactions
2. Eligibility
You must comply with the Discord Terms of Service and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use BloomBot.
3. Acceptable Use
When using BloomBot, you agree not to:
- Abuse, exploit, or intentionally overload the bot's features or infrastructure
- Attempt to access data belonging to other servers or users
- Use BloomBot to harass, spam, or violate Discord's Community Guidelines
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the bot's source code from its hosted instance
4. Server Administrator Responsibilities
If you add BloomBot to a server you manage, you are responsible for configuring it appropriately and informing your members that the bot collects certain data (as described in our Privacy Policy). You should ensure the bot's use in your server complies with applicable laws and Discord's terms.
5. Availability & Changes
BloomBot is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We'll try to communicate major changes through our Discord community when possible.
6. Data & Privacy
Our collection and use of data is described in the BloomBot Privacy Policy. By using BloomBot, you also agree to that policy.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mayflower Studios and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of BloomBot. The bot is a free community tool and is provided without warranty of any kind.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to restrict or block any server or user from accessing BloomBot at our discretion, particularly in cases of abuse or violation of these Terms. You may stop using BloomBot at any time by removing it from your server.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of BloomBot after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
