📻 What's new
Changelog
Every release of Mayflower Radio, newest first. The app updates itself — when there's a new
version, an update button appears inside it.

A real radio station
- Station IDs & jingles — optional clips played between songs (off by default).
- Tune-in files — open your station in VLC, phone radio apps, or a car stereo.
- Listening stats — peak listeners, listener-hours, and a 14-day chart.
- Now-playing page got a full in-browser player, listener count and artwork.
- Tidier tabbed settings, and "Up next" now shows what's genuinely coming.
- Remembers the playlist you were playing, so auto-start picks it back up.

Find and be found
- Public stations page — a directory of stations on the air at mayflowerstudios.net.
- Optional, opt-in listing for your own station (removed again the moment you turn it off).
1.11–1.12
A page for listeners
- Your station gets its own web page — people listen in the browser and see what's playing.
- Served right at your station's address, no extra setup.

Settings & quality
- Settings for auto-start, start-with-Windows, and audio quality (128 / 192 / 320 kbps).
- Level out my library — evens the volume of older downloads.
- Upload-speed check that estimates how many listeners you can carry.
1.8
Big polish pass
- Tray icon & keep-awake — the station keeps running, minimized, without the PC sleeping.
- Tidy song titles — strips "(Official Video)" and friends from what listeners see.
- Volume levelling on download, plus play counts and a duplicate finder.
- Self-updating downloader and a "why can't people reach me?" connection doctor.
- Import a whole folder of music, or export/import
.m3u playlists.
1.6–1.9
Playlists & more sources
- Playlists — keep different sets of songs; imports create a matching playlist.
- Apple Music import, alongside Spotify and YouTube.
- Private playlists — paste a song list or import an exported playlist file.
- Choose where your music folder lives; multi-select move / queue / remove.
1.3–1.5
Hands-off broadcasting
- Automatic port forwarding (UPnP) — most routers need no setup.
- Self-updating app — a one-click update button when there's a new version.
- Full player controls: queue, pause, seek, previous, shuffle, repeat, search.
1.0–1.2
The beginning
- A one-file Windows app that sets itself up — no installers, no fuss.
- Paste a YouTube or Spotify link to build a music library, press play, share one URL.
